We have had SO many gecko's find their way into our house lately. These dudes, FREAK me out almost as much as cockroaches.
I almost always try to capture them and put them back outside, but today I had a different idea. After we caught it we kept it in the container for a bit.
Lilia was ecstatic about the thing. She asked if we could keep it as a pet and I told her sure. So now we have a pet gecko.
The ONLY reason for this is so I can get over my fear. I guess the always say the best way to get over fears is to face them. We fixed up his aquarium and now he has a little home. Ek! Now I just have to find a way not to drive myself batty making sure it hasn't escaped.

I was so confused why you had Geckos in your home and then I reminded myself that you're not in Utah. It all makes sense to me now.
